Our youngest grandson was visiting for a week.  And he is a live wire. 

Our oldest grandson, who is 13, is also visiting.  They are half-brothers but they do not live with each other.  But the youngest sure does love his "Bubbi".  I hope they can grow up having a relationship with each other since they are so far apart in age and homes.

The youngest was so funny the other morning.  I was sitting at my desk talking to my husband when he came through.  My husband asked him if he would hand me back the phone.  After he gave it to me he headed on to the other doorway and my husband said "You should come give "Gannie" (that's me) a hug!  He turned around, with his little hands holding onto the doorknob, and just as serious, said "Why?  I'm not going anywhere".  We both burst out laughing!

Kids really do "say the darndest things"!

They have so much innocence, trust and forgiveness.  Wouldn't it be a wonderful place if we, as adults, could do the same......and not be taken advantage of.
